Jewish Quarter of Segovia

Segovia

A large Jewish community resided in this neighborhood from the 12th century until its expulsion ordered by the Catholic Monarchs in 1492. Among the buildings that remain from that time is the Old Main Synagogue, which was converted into a church after the expulsion of the Jews.
