Church of Sant Miquel in Palencia

It was built between the 11th and 13th centuries and is said to have been the scene of the wedding between El Cid and his wife Doña Jimena. This temple, which impresses with its square tower with imposing ogival arches that give it the appearance of a fortress, as well as showing a perfect transition between Romanesque and Gothic.
