The old town of Bilbao, better known as the Casco Viejo or seven streets (zazpi kaleak in Basque), is one of the best-known corners of all of Bilbao. Currently, this Biscayan enclave is, together with Old Bilbao, one of the busiest areas of the city, a large network of streets, which fills with vitality as the day progresses.
