The Pérez Galdós Theater is the main theater venue in the city, permanent headquarters of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Alfredo Kraus Opera Festival. It is one of the most emblematic monuments in the city and, after the comprehensive renovation completed in 2007, one of the most modern theaters in Spain.
