The Holy Cathedral Church of Santa Maria,1 known as the Cathedral of Murcia, is the main temple and seat of the Diocese of Cartagena. It is located in the middle of the old town. The main facade of the cathedral, made by Jaume Bort, is an international Baroque jewel of exceptional beauty and unique in its genre.
